Vendor/ supplier training
Education and training are key roles of the social compliance programs. ICS develops education and training programs that use a case study approach to illustrate real-life examples of supply chain conditions. Vendor/supplier training aims to bring up the compliance awareness of the representatives of vendor and suppliers. The training and workshop covers the following critical areas:
- Basic concepts and performance criteria of social compliance programs
- Sharing best practices and updating trend
- Identifying the deficiencies in the facilities through gap assessment
- Establishing of effective management system
- Periodic review of the compliance system
Factory training
Social accountability training for factories is a major component of our program using a wide range of techniques. The curriculum and openness of the process help factories obtain a working understanding of current compliance issues and encourages them to identify elements in their systems that will promote sustainable practices. Our training staff can provide on-site training to factory management in best practices, code of conduct requirements, and implementation of corrective actions.
In-house auditor training
We can develop full or skill-specific training programs for in-house audit staff. The training is not confined to the workshop of basic auditing skill and the understanding of the prevailing legislation and requirement, but the practical auditing experience in the facility.
