In a global context, there are heightened political and social concerns in the areas of social, environmental and security responsibility. Over the past ten years, a large number of brands and retailers have accepted the need to take responsibility for the social and ethical performance of their supply chain. Education and monitoring are necessary to ensure codes are implemented throughout the supply chain.
Recognizing this need, Independent Compliance Services (Asia) has implemented compliance programs and provided solutions to achieve these goals. Our approach is to provide an innovative model of integrating capacity building with monitoring sourcing facilities where goods are manufactured, providing onsite observation and information of conditions present. We ensure that the supply chain understands the legal components as well as environmental and safety standards that regulate global manufacturing, promoting conditions that are safe, fair and legal.
